Jack McDonald, also known by the name of his former artist project “Keith Cameron” is truly a modern-day recording artist in that he wears many different musical hats. He is an audio producer, composer, songwriter, mixing engineer, sound designer, and solo act. Jack’s pursuit of audio began at sixteen as he taught himself how to record himself in his bedroom and make beats after school. He soon found himself making music across all types of genres.

He then moved from his hometown of Tampa, FL to Portland, OR where he studied Sonic Arts and Music Production at Portland Community College and Portland State University. Studying at the collegiate level helped Jack take his audio abilities to the next level. Jack’s current and past work is widespread amongst many different mediums and musical styles: He has produced and worked on tracks for some notable modern alternative acts such as Kenny Mason, Madisenxoxo, Daniel Novello, Mana Garden, and THE BLSSM. He’s worked on scoring music for two different short films. He’s composed and designed a sonic logo for the reputable podcast “In the Flow”.

Whether it’s in a song he writes or in an interview he edits and arranges, the common thread amongst all of Jack’s work is his aim for authentic and compelling storytelling. Jack currently spends most of his time recording music for his solo act and looking for work as an audio producer for audio-based stories.
